Brookdale guarantees the proper functioning of its knives for the lifetime of the knife. The Brookdale guarantee excludes normal wear-and-tear (notably the wear-and-tear of handles and scratches on the blade), loss, theft, or damage due to misuse. The substitution of components with, or the addition of, components or accessories not manufactured by Brookdale will invalidate the guarantee (notably the replacement of the handle and reshaping of the blade).
